NEW YORK — Kate Bullinger has been named CEO of United Minds, the Weber Shandwick management consultancy she has been running as president since 2018.

In the newly-created role, Bullinger will be overseeing United Minds' operations in the US, EMEA and Latin America. Her responsibilities include expanding the services offered by the consultancy — which specializes in change management, DE&I, culture, and employee experience — and the global team.

Bullinger helped launch the consultancy globally in late 2018, roughly four years after United Minds joined Weber Shandwick when the IPG agency acquired Swedish PR shop Prime. Before that, Bullinger created Weber Shandwick’s global employee engagement and change management practice.

“Kate is a brilliant leader who has been ahead of the curve for years on the critical need for an employee-led approach to driving transformation and business impact,” said Weber Shandwick's chief growth officer, Susan Howe. “From helping executives navigate the greatest leadership challenge of their careers to redesigning the compact between employers and employees in real-time, our United Minds team has never been more relevant. I know Kate will lead the consultancy to new heights in the years ahead.”

United Minds has also grown its DE&I team in response to companies’ heightened demand for expertise in the area. Tai Wingfield, the lead of the DE&I specialty within United Minds, was recently promoted to executive VP, DE&I, while former Nielsen DE&I expert Courtney Jones has joined the consultancy as senior VP, DE&I.
