LONDON — Kate Steele, the EMEA global client relationship lead at Creation, has moved in house to client Microsoft as executive communications director.

Steele joined Weber Shandwick as EMEA client relationship lead in 2010 after eight years at MSL. She then become global CRL, before moving over to conflict shop Creation when it was founded in 2014 to handle Weber Shandwick’s Microsoft business.

Interpublic recently merged Creation with US-based Current Marketing into a new entity called Current Global, to be led by Creation founder George Coleman and Current founder Virginia Devlin.

Coleman told the Holmes Report: “Kate has been a fantastic colleague and has made a major contribution to the success of the agency. We wish her well in this exciting next chapter in her career.”

In her new role, Steele will be based in London and at Microsoft’s European headquarters in Paris. Microsoft would not comment on the new appointment.
