NEW YORK—Ketchum and its clients created more innovative work than any other firm in 2022, based on the shortlist for our North American Innovation SABRE Awards. The global agency has 27 finalists in the competition, which recognizes innovation and insight work, content creative, data and analytics, and disruption.

Ketchum finished ahead of a number of firms with double-digit campaigns on the shortlist, including MSL (18), Day One Agency (17), Weber Shandwick (13), Bospar (12), BCW (11) and Current Global (10).

“A record number of entries in this year’s competition is testament to the wide range of creative work coming out of agencies and clients in North America,” said Paul Holmes, who chaired the SABRE jury. “From creating events and virtual worlds in the metaverse to using social channels from LinkedIn to TikTok, to using data and analytics to develop insights and measure effectiveness, the breadth of the industry’s work is hugely impressive.”

Other firms with multiple finalists on the list include ICF Next, Zeno Group, and Ruder Finn including its Peppercomm subsidiary (nine each), Mike Worldwide (six), and Allison+Partners, Carmicheal Lynch Relate, The Hoffman Agency, Real Chemistry, and Veritas (five each).

The winners of the 2023 North American Innovation SABRE Awards will be announced during the lunchtime of the North America PRovoke Summit conference on May 3.
