SINGAPORE - KRDS has promoted Sunny Johar to the role of managing director for Southeast Asia and group head, digital strategy. She will now be reporting to group CEO and co-founder, Thomas Jestin and will continue to hold her role as group head of digital strategy for APAC and Middle East.
Under Johar’s leadership, KRDS Singapore will remain the headquarters of KRDS Group, serving as the central hub for innovation, strategy, and regional coordination. With this consolidation, KRDS is poised to deliver a more cohesive digital marketing experience to brands across Southeast Asia.
Johar joined KRDS in 2017 as its social media manager and quickly climbed the ranks over the eight years she has been at the firm. She was most recently the managing director of Singapore.
She was previously with Publicis Singapore as its content specialist as well as with PSB Academy as its management associate, brand, marking and corporate communications.
"I’m truly honored to step into this role and to continue building on the incredible work our team has done across Southeast Asia," said Johar.
"Digital marketing is evolving faster than ever, and I’m excited to lead KRDS SEA in pushing creative boundaries, embracing emerging technologies, and delivering impactful solutions for our clients. This journey isn’t just about growth—it’s about innovation, collaboration, and creating experiences that delight," she added.
KRDS is streamlining its regional operations by consolidating its regional presence outside of Singapore into KRDS Southeast Asia, which currently encompasses Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines, Johar told PRovoke Media. This strategic move aims to strengthen KRDS’s service offerings across key markets in the region.
