GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Lambert & Co. has acquired St. Louis firm The Vandiver Group, the agency’s fourth such move in the last two years.

Founder Donna Vandiver will continue to lead the office as a Lambert managing director. The Vandiver staff will remain intact.

Vandiver has been in business for more than 28 years, during which it has expanded from offering strategic and corporate comms services to include market research, digital and integrated marketing as well. The acquisition strengthens Lambert’s capabilities in crisis and reputation management, corporate communications, market research and executive training.

“We are always looking for great talent and acquisitions is one way we can complement and catapult our strategic goals,” said founder and CEO Jeff Lambert. “I have known Donna for several years and this acquisition is a culmination of a relationship driven by values alignment and strategic fit.”

The acquisition is the latest in a series of recent moves Lambert has made the grow the agency. Others include the 2020 purchases of Michigan ad agency Fairly Painless and New York-based Casteel Schoenborn Investor Relations & Corporate Communications. In 2019, the firm acquired and hired a Phoenix PR team.
