LOS ANGELES — Lamps Plus, the largest specialty lighting retailer in the US, has tapped Havas Formula to serve as its PR agency of record.

Havas Formula won the business via a competitive pitch process. The account will be handled by the firm's Los Angeles office.

The agency will head a national campaign including media outreach, brand storytelling, expert positioning and partnerships. The focus will be on making Lamps Plus part of the larger conversation about design by positioning lighting as an important, and expressive, component of home décor.

In addition, Havas is charged with driving awareness of Lamps Plus Professionals, the brand’s program for designers, architects, builders and contractors.

At 42-years-old, the privately held Lamps Plus has previously worked with a range of agencies including Minneapolis-based Spong PR.
