LONDON — Strategic communications agency Lansons has appointed Danny Calogero as a new board director to underline its commitment to its clients in the asset management sector.
Calogero will join Lansons at the end of April from Peregrine Communications, where he is a board director overseeing UK client and business development activity and providing strategic direction, campaign development, reputation management and crisis communications to clients.
Before joining Peregrine last year, Calogero was an associate director at Headland where he focused on developing the firm’s asset management practice. He has also worked at Prosek Partners and Hill+Knowlton Strategies.
Lansons CEO Tony Langham said: “Lansons’ asset management client base is a truly impressive one and it is important to our business. Danny joins us specifically to further strengthen our capabilities in this area, as well as to broaden our senior counsel to clients. He has also spent time working with clients in the US, which fits well with our international growth strategy.”
The agency recently announced its first international acquisition, New York financial services specialist Intermarket.
