LONDON — Meal delivery service Wiltshire Farm Foods has appointed Frank PR as its first consumer agency, to deliver brand-building campaigns and increase its profile in the UK.

Wiltshire Farm Foods, which has annual turnover of more than £100 million, has been delivering chef-prepared frozen meals for older consumers for over 30 years, and is known for the range of its products and the personal service and relationships its delivery drivers build with customers.

The company has appointed Frank to deliver brand campaigns that bring to life its core proposition: ‘bringing sunshine to every meal’. Frank will also help amplify Wiltshire Farm Foods’ new television ad.

The agency has already launched its first campaign, based on the insight that many older people suffer from loneliness because they don’t have enough meaningful interactions with other people.

As part of the campaign, Wiltshire Farm Foods drivers were trained in singing and dancing, including by professional dancer and former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips, so they could entertain and engage customers on their doorsteps.

Wiltshire Farm Foods chief commercial officer and managing director Ian Stone said: “We chose Frank because we wanted to create campaigns that are not only bold and fresh but have meaningful impact, and we’ve already seen them deliver this with some impressive results, including bringing sunshine to folk that need it the most. We can’t wait to see what they come up with next.”

Frank managing partner Alex Grier added: “When Wiltshire Farm Foods approached us we were thrilled. Their mission and unique offering of spending time with people who haven’t had a meaningful interaction with anyone for weeks on end, struck a chord with us and we really felt we could help them in amplifying their mission.”

Wiltshire Farm Foods joins Frank’s portfolio of clients including Weetabix, Huawei, Tripadvisor company The Fork, G2 Esports, Kind Snacks, and Simply Business.
