SAN FRANCISCO  — W2O's head of social marketing Michael Brito has left the firm after nearly three years to spearhead US growth for Lewis Pulse.

Brito joined Lewis Pulse on March 21 as SVP of the US, reporting into Stephen Corsi who runs Lewis Pulse globally. Before W2O, Brito spent four years as part of Edelman's digital team on the West Coast.

"I joined Lewis Pulse because of their broad approach to digital that includes social, search, creative, marketing automation and paid," Brito told the Holmes Report. "I'm also focusing on building out our analytics and employee storytelling platforms."

Last year, Lewis' global revenues were $65m, with about 25% of that coming from Pulse. In the US, Pulse grew 26% over 2014 and globally 39%. Pulse's biggest market is the US, with clients that include VMware, Intel Security (formerly McAfee), Riverbed and Shortel.

Pulse also hired former Cohn & Wolfe digital exec Mark Burr to lead operations and integration for the San Diego-based digital and creative shop Piston that was acquired last year. Burr reports into president John Hartman.
