SINGAPORE — Former LinkedIn communications director Linda Lee has been named senior director of global corporate comms for Shiseido's travel retail business, which is headquartered in Singapore.

Lee takes on the new position after a seven-month stint as communications and marketing director at healthtech startup Docquity. She previously spent almost six years with LinkedIn in senior communications and marketing roles, after agency side positions at Weber Shandwick and MSL.

Lee reports directly to Shiseido travel retail CEO Philippe Lesne, and succeeds Lisa Bates, who left the role in 2020 to become executive communications manager at Adobe.

Lee's global corporate communications team is tasked with building and shaping Shiseido's travel retail brand and reputation, and is also responsible for driving social value creation focused on empowerment for women and girls.

Shiseido's travel retail business covers the Japanese cosmetics giant's duty-free operations, including operations in airports, downtown stores, border shops, airlines, and ferries.
