NEW YORK —  M&C Saatchi Public Relations has tapped two of its UK leaders — Emeka McQuade and Adam Reader — to expand the firm's US operation.

McQuade, named senior VP, moves from the agency's London headquarters with a brief to grow its New York and Los Angeles operations and expand its US footprint.

In London, McQuade led the consumer and lifestyle division, whose client roster includes brands such as Foot Locker, Lipton and EE. He was responsible for spearheading a series of high-profile business wins, including Amazon and Sonos.

The New York office will be led by Reader, who was named VP, with a focus on its strategic consulting offering and developing integrated campaigns with other M&C Saatchi companies such as Lida, SS+K and M&C Saatchi Performance.

Reader, who is also a UK transplant, has been in New York since the start of the year, serving as strategy director for both M&C Saatchi PR and Lida NY. He spent nearly five years at Lida in London earlier in his career.

M&C Saatchi Public Relations global CEO Molly Aldridge (pictured) said: “The US continues to be a very important market for our global network. Both Emeka and Adam are big believers in our philosophy of 'Brutal Simplicity of Thought’ and I have every faith that their passion and Saatchi spirit will both expand our business locally and continue to deliver outstanding results for our US clients."
