LONDON — M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment global CEO Steve Martin is relocating from London to Australia to explore growth opportunities for the agency across Asia.

Martin will be based in Sydney from September, with the remit of expanding the agency’s global presence with new offices, specifically in South East Asia, as well as supporting the team in Australia.

He will continue to lead the agency’s six global offices in New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, Sydney, Johannesburg and London. The London office will still be run by the UK leadership team, Jamie Wynne-Morgan, UK CEO, and joint managing directors Jodie Fullagar and Rich Barker.

Martin said, “We have always committed to having as few offices as necessary, rather than as many as possible, but with the increasing demand from our clients and with major sporting and culture events in the upcoming decade, it’s now important that we find the right opportunity in Asia to help balance our footprint.

"We have an incredibly strong UK leadership team and so it feels the right time to continue to expand our offering and support the brilliant team in Sydney.”

M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment clients include Coca-Cola, Beko, Heineken, Ballantine’s and Reebok.
