DUBAI — Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has chosen Gambit Communications as its regional PR agency in the Middle East, after a competitive tender process.

Mandarin Oriental, which owns and operates 35 luxury hotels and resorts and seven residences in 24 countries, has briefed the agency to handle brand PR and corporate communications across the region, with a focus on GCC countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates) where it currently has four properties.

Gambit Communications founder and managing director Jamal Al Mawed told PRovoke Media: “There is a beautiful sense of wonder that surrounds the Mandarin Oriental brand. There are so many stories in the brand and we are extremely proud to have the opportunity to tell them.”

The hotel group works with other regional agencies around the world including AxiCom in China, Finn Partners in South East Asia, Bullfrog & Baum in the US and Canada, and The M Collective in the UK.
