LONDON — Augury, one of the first unicorn technology companies in the global manufacturing sector, has appointed Made by Giants as its digital and social media partner.

The agency, which was set up last July by former FleishmanHillard London ECD James Beveridge and fintech specialist Grace Keeling, has been briefed to handle digital and social strategy, creative, campaigns, organic community development, influencer marketing and Google pay-per-click marketing.

Augury produces hardware, artificial intelligence and software that diagnose malfunctions in machinery as part of the ‘industry 4.0’ move towards automation in manufacturing, with clients including PepsiCo, Colgate-Palmolive and Danone. It recently secured $180 million in new funding, bringing the company’s post-funding valuation to over $1 billion and this week acquired fellow Israeli company Seebo, which develops process-based artificial intelligence.

Keeling said: “Augury’s recent funding means it’s becoming one of the first industry 4.0 unicorns - and its social media presence needs to reflect its new position in the market. Working with the Augury brand is such an exciting prospect and we’re thrilled to bring our giant ideas to life.”

Growth and digital marketing lead Marina Oliveira said: “We’re on a rapid growth trajectory and Made By Giants sees the Augury brand in unique and exciting ways – their creative ideas are nothing short of outstanding.”

Made by Giants, specialises in integrated branding, communications and digital work for clients including Etika, Kryon, Atoti and ActiveViam. The agency now has a team of 12 and recently hired former Hotwire director Andy West as its growth and innovation advisor.
