LONDON — Technology communications specialist Missive has hired former Hotwire board director Kate Hunter to its senior team as it plans for the next phase of growth.
Hunter joins Missive after 14 years at Hotwire, where she was a UK board director and led a team of 40 in the B2B division and the digital team in London, managing international accounts including Eaton, McAfee, and NTT, as well as fast-growth tech businesses.
In her new role, Hunter will be tasked with leading some of Missive’s key clients and supporting the operational development of the team and its capabilities. She brings the agency’s headcount to 25.
Missive CEO Giles Peddy, who joined in November last year and leads Missive alongside Nicola Koronka and Emma Ross, told PRovoke Media: “We’re seeing a lot more demand for multi-market assignments from prospects as we grow, and Kate brings a lot of enterprise technology and big international account expertise to our senior bench. She also brings her experience in leading digital at Hotwire: we’re seeing a lot more interest in digital work – we recently announced Missive Studio and Missive Analytics – and we want to drive more of that next year.”
Hunter added: “Having worked with Emma, Giles and Nicola previously I know the quality they bring. At this stage in my career, I wanted to join a consultancy that both truly values a strong, supportive culture but is also progressive in the way it wants to deliver high impact work. I am looking forward to bringing my experience and skills, and working with the team towards making Missive a truly defining consultancy.”
