NEW YORK — Sam's Club, the warehouse club giant owned by Walmart, has moved its consumer PR business to MMC.
As the retailer’s consumer PR agency of record, MMC will be responsible for leading all consumer-focused PR efforts for the brand including its Member’s Mark brand and portfolio of products available in stores and online.
Hotwire, which Sam’s Club hired in December 2023, will continue to handle the chain's corporate media relations and executive thought leadership work. The chain worked with an agency in Arkansas, where Walmart is based, on consumer PR.
