KANSAS CITY, MO — Travel and hospitality specialist MMGY Global has acquired India-based Think Strawberries, marking the agency’s official entry into the Asia-Pacific region and expanding its footprint in the Middle East.

Think Strawberries, founded in 2011, represents travel and hospitality clients including the Maldives, Portugal, Disneyland Paris, and Dubai Holding Entertainment. The agency works across South Asia and the Gulf.

The firm will now operate as MMGY Think Strawberries. Founder Amit Kishore will become managing director and head of strategy, while Munnmunn Marwah and Sanya Zaidi will continue to lead operations in India and the GCC, respectively.

“For years, we’ve partnered with global brands seeking to engage high-value travelers in India and the GCC,” said MMGY Global CEO Katie Briscoe. “This investment amplifies our capabilities with deeper local insight, stronger cultural fluency and an on-the-ground network that’s second to none.”

The deal expands MMGY Global’s global footprint to 16 offices and 650 employees. MMGY Global is majority owned by EagleTree Capital.
