NEW DELHI — MSL South Asia CEO Amit Misra has expanded his leadership remit to include leadership duties for the Publicis Groupe PR firm's operations across Southeast Asia.

As CEO of MSL South Asia, Misra takes charge of the firm's 100 employees across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines. This comes in addition to the 450 he oversees in South Asia, where he has led the firm's India presence and since 2015, doubling in revenue and being named Consultancy of the Year on two occasions by PRovoke Media. 

Misra's India team has also been restructured with a number of promotions. Tushar Bajaj becomes MD of the Organic by MSL unit; Nikhil Lodaya is named COO of MSL India;  Vaishnavi Murali takes on COO duties for Publicis Consultants; Parveez Modak becomes MD of the strategy group; Glen D’Souza is named MD of the media and network group;  and Schubert Fernandes has become chief client officer.

Misra adds a reporting line to Publicis Southeast Asia and Singapore CEO Amrita Randhawa. "Amit leading the mandate for two regions will further leverage the Publicis Groupe’s 'power of one' model, with MSL being a true powerhouse offering scale and depth of services to our clients," said Randhawa.

Misra continues reporting to MSL Asia-Pacific CEO Margaret Key and Publicis South Asia CEO Anupriya Acharya. "A respected industry leader, [Misra] has a deep understanding of these markets and has a proven track record of innovation and growth in the region," said Key. "With his appointment, two strategic geographies in Asia have come together thereby unlocking incredible opportunities for MSL."
