NEW YORK — MMWPR has acquired Atlanta-based Everywhere Agency, in a move meant to expand the firm’s global influencer practice.

In announcing the deal, MWWPR said acquiring the influencer and social media firm would bolster the depth and expertise of its influencer practice, and was part of an ongoing push to make the specialty a core offering.

Everywhere Agency VP Kelly Dye will join MWWPR as VP, influencer, as which she will work with MWWPR influencer marketing head Nycole Hampton to build the practice. Everywhere founder Danica Kombol will be departing the company after 11 years to pursue other career opportunities.

As part of the deal, MWWPR will assume ownership and management of Everywhere’s network of more than 5,500 vetted and verified influencers across the country, and Everywhere’s clients, which include Georgia-Pacific, FAGE and TaxSlayer, will become part of MWWPR’s roster.

MWWPR founder and CEO Michael Kempner (pictured) said: “Influencer marketing speaks directly to consumer and business-to-business audiences in an authentic and meaningful way. In a world of competing messages and an overload of information, influencers drive a deeper relationship between a brand and its stakeholders. Done properly, an influencer strategy delivers strong ROI by giving key audiences a reason to believe, and a reason to care about your brand.

“As one of the early proponents of influencer programs, Everywhere’s deep experience will help accelerate the expansion of our influencer capabilities.”

Everywhere Agency is MWWPR’s first acquisition since 2018, when it purchased Search Interactions, a digital marketing agency specializing in SEO, SEM, content creation, optimization and research.
