REDWOOD CITY, CA — Neato Robotics has consolidated its global PR business with Zeno Group.
Neato has selected Zeno to lead the robotic vacuum brand’s integrated communications duties around the world, which were previously handled by regional agencies in the US and across Europe. Former agency partners include Flashpoint PR (US), Alfred (UK), Havana Orange (Germany), MyPR (Italy) and Rumeur Publique (France).
Zeno won the business in a competitive review. PRovoke Media understands Neato is a high six-figure account.
The global account team will be led out of Zeno’s Silicon Valley office with team members across the US and Europe.
Zeno is assuming Neato’s PR responsibilities following a change in the tech company's marcomms leadership during the latter part of 2019, as well as the appointment of Sony Electronics’ Thomas Nedder as CEO.
In November, Kriselle Laran joined Neato as communications head after a year at Cobalt Robotics — and six years with Zeno before that. She replaced Aparna Aswani, who left Neato in June to join Moxie Software as director of global corporate communications.
Marketing head Howard Leyda started his job at Neato in November as well.
“Neato sought a global agency who truly understands both the consumer and technology landscapes, and has the vision to help us expand visibility for our entire product line as we continue to grow internationally,” Leyda said. “Zeno’s data-driven approach, blended with the agency’s boundless creativity and resources around the world, made them the ideal partner for us.”
