LONDON — New internet service provider Rebel Internet has hired The Fourth Angel as its PR and communications partner.

Working in an integrated team with ad agency Leagas Delaney and media agency The Kite Factory, The Fourth Angel is tasked with driving earned media support for the brand and its propositions, as well as engagement with the UK government and telecoms industry regulator Ofcom.

The account will be led by The Fourth Angel group account director Sedem Ama along with head of consultancy Tania Littlehales, MD Sarah Perry and CEO Angie Moxham.

Rebel Internet has been set up by former BT managing director of business transformation Tucker George, who said: “Customers have suffered at the hands of legacy broadband providers for too long. The broadband market is broken. It’s ripe for disruption, and that’s where Rebel comes in. We bring a completely new approach to providing home internet, centred around the customer and bolstered by leading Wi-Fi technology.

“We only work with like-minded partners who have a big appetite for disruption, and we’ve found such a partner in The Fourth Angel. Angie, Sarah and team have the right experience, the right network, and the right mindset to break open this market.”

Perry added: “It’s rare to have the gift to represent a company that has the potential to blow the market up overnight. We have all suffered from Wi-Fi that drops, frustrating customer service, confusing marketing, and misleading pricing. Rebel’s story is incredibly strong, so earned content will be spearheading our campaign. We’re going to have a lot of fun providing the UK with the home internet that we all desperately need.”

The Fourth Angel’s current client roster also includes tea brand Pukka Herbs and vitamins and supplements brands Solgar and Nature’s Bounty.
