SÃO PAULO—MBS Value Partners, the New York-based communications and investor relations firm founded by financial veteran Lynn Morgen, has opened a new office in São Paulo, Brazil.

The firm has been providing senior level advisory work for over six years to leading Brazilian and Latin American companies in the retail and consumer, energy, infrastructure and real estate industries. The firm will now offer strategic communications planning and messaging; investor and analyst relationship building; bondholder relations; governance and proxy communications advisory; IPO preparation and support; M&A and restructuring support; and advice on shareholder activism and proxy contests.

The operation in Brazil is being led by partner Fabiane Goldstein (pictured), who will work in close coordination with MBS partners Monique Skruzny, Lynn Morgen and Betsy Brod in New York. Goldstein was the founder of Ricci RI, a corporate communications firm that serves as MBS’ partner in Brazil.

“Brazilian companies are accustomed to seeking advisory services for a variety of areas including legal and business strategy,” says Goldstein. “Now they have access to investor relations advisory services provided by senior level partners.”

The opening of MBS’ office in Brazil follows the recent acquisition of Farrell Kramer Communications, a public relations firm in the US, which expanded the firm’s service offering to provide a greater emphasis on public relations, corporate communications, social media, and media and presentation training.
