NEW DELHI — Nikhil Dey is leaving Weber Shandwick after two years as the firm's vice chair in India, which he described as "a short but memorable stint."
Dey told PRovoke Media that he will focus on his life and leadership coaching 'passion project', while sharing details of his PR industry plans in the New Year.
"The last two years have been an enriching learning experience," said Dey. "It was wonderful to be part of a collaborative global talent pool and experience the power of the network. I got to meet a whole new set of clients and colleagues and contribute in different ways."
Dey joined Weber Shandwick at the end of 2018 after a 15-year run as one of Genesis BCW's key executives, serving as India president of the latter firm. At Weber Shandwick, he worked alongside India CEO Valerie Pinto.
"Over the last two years Nikhil has been a pillar of strength to the organization and our employees," said Pinto. "He has spent his time mentoring them to reach their potential. Nikhil has been a strong influence in realising our vision of making the organization a wonderful place to work and I would like to thank him for his contribution."
