NEW YORK— Clients of Weber Shandwick received 23 nominations — more than those of any other agency — as the shortlist for the 2019 North American SABRE Awards was announced. The winners will be announced and presented at a gala dinner to be held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York on May 7.

Clients of Edelman, and Ketchum (including its Harrison & Schiffman subsidiary) received 18 nominations. New Jersey-based independent Coyne PR was the only other firm whose clients totaled in the double digits, with 11 finalists.

Among other firms whose clients notched up at least four nominations: FleishmanHillard and Zeno Group (eight each); Carmichael Lynch Relate and Ogilvy (seven); MSL and W2O (six); Current, DeVries Global, M Booth, and Golin (five); and C+C, Day One Agency, Global Strategy Group, Marina Maher Communications, MWWPR and WE Communications (four).

The full list of finalists can be found here. The finalists were selected by a jury of 55 senior professionals, from among around 2,000 entries to this year’s competition.

Tickets and tables for the SABRE dinner can be bought online at our dedicated events site. This year tables are available on a first-come-first-served basis at both premium and discount prices—based on proximity to the stage—as well as at standard rates.
