WASHINGTON, DC—Amy Brundage is joining SKDKnickerbocker’s Washington, DC, office as senior vice president. She will be a part of SKDK's public affairs division, leading client teams on behalf of corporate and nonprofit clients.

Brundage most recently served as deputy assistant to the President and deputy director of communications at the White House, and has served in various other capacities in eight years of service to President Obama.

Brundage joined the office of then-Senator Obama office in 2007 as national press secretary after five years working for Senator John Kerry, in Congress and on his presidential campaign. Later, she joined the 2008 Obama campaign team in Chicago and then the White House communications team, where she served as regional communications director, spokesperson on the economy, deputy press secretary, deputy communications director, and acting White House communications director during the summer and early fall of 2015.
