NEW YORK — MMC has named Ogilvy’s Christine Meberg chief strategy officer as part of a larger number of executive appointments.

Meberg will be responsible for driving strategic growth for MMC and its healthcare clients. She will report to CEO Olga Fleming.

Meberg joins most recently from Ogilvy, where she served as head of strategy and planning for the firm’s health PR group.

Other new additions include John McInerney, who joins MMC as executive director of global digital health. McInerney brings two decades of experience to the role. He most recently was executive VP of social media at Spectrum Science.

Chris Polakowski joins as executive director of global operations, bringing experience most recently from BCW, where he served as global commercial director. He is leading MMC’s project management specialty and creating scalable processes that improve client delivery.

MMC has appointed Christie Sithiphone as VP of inclusion & engagement to lead efforts encompassing DE&I, learning & development, and employee engagement. She served as MMC parent Omnicom PR Group’s global director, diversity, equity & inclusion, where she worked to advance systemic equity across 24 agencies and its leaders.

The agency has also promoted three executives including Courtney Walker, who has been promoted to chief growth officer; and James Ferber and Sara Baker, who have been elevated to the positions of chief creative officer and managing director, US & global media, respectively.
