NEW YORK—Ogilvy Public Relations has expanded its executive committee and is creating a new world-wide board, moves that recently-appointed global chief executive Stuart Smith says were designed to create “broader, more diverse representation in the active management of Ogilvy PR to accelerate our plans.”

The expanded executive committee includes Michele Anderson (market leader in Chicago), Debby Cheung (China), Thomas Crampton (head of social), Michael Frohlich (UK/EAME), Joanna Oosthuizen (South Africa), Stacey Ryan-Cornelius (global finance), Renata Saraiva (Brazil), Jennifer Scott (New York), and Andrew Thomas (Southeast Asia).

They join Smith, global chair Chris Graves, and regional CEOs Scott Kronick (Asia-Pacific) and Rob Mathias (North America).

These changes follow the recent appointment of Suresh Raj as global managing director, new business, and Robyn Massey, global chief communications officer. In addition, Smith has created seven collaborative teams across all four geographic regions with more than 80 members in total, responsible for accelerating continuous improvement and invention across the agency.

“We are evolving our structure so it’s aligned with our strategy,” says Smith. “We will have 100 of our most senior, seasoned professionals directly engaged in asking and answering some of the key strategic questions about Ogilvy PR.”
