SINGAPORE — Ogilvy and its clients have received more nominations for the 2022 Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards than any other firm, with 30 finalists in the Gold and Diamond categories, which recognize the best public relations campaigns of the past 18 months.
Ogilvy's haul, which includes its various operations across the region, put it ahead of network rivals Edelman and Weber Shandwick, which racked up 23 and 20 finalists, respectively. Southeast Asian consultancy Era scored 16 nominations, ahead of BCW (14), India's Adfactors and Australian firm Eleven (13 each), Japanese consultancy Ozma (12), Archetype, First Partners, GCI Health and MSL (11 each), and Golin (10).
Other firms with multiple finalists include Durian HK (9), Sinclair (8), Avian WE and Provocate (7 each), and Alexander PR, Dentsu, History Will Be Kind, and Zeno Group (6 each).
The winners will be unveiled at the annual SABRE Awards ceremony, which returns in person to Singapore on 13 October. Tickets and tables for the awards ceremony — as well as the accompanying PRovoke Asia-Pacific Summit — are available here.
A complete list of Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards finalists can be found here, determined by more than 60 jurors, who judged remotely and in virtual group sessions to determine finalists and winners.
Winners of the IN2 SABRE Awards categories will be posted online later this week, while Agency of the Year finalists and Best Agencies to Work For will also be revealed by the start of September.
