NEW YORK — United Minds, Weber Shandwick’s management consultancy, is expanding its senior leadership team with the addition of Michael Burchell, an expert in organizational effectiveness.

As an executive VP, Burchell will play a key role in helping clients resolve challenges around workplace culture, while also driving the growth of new tools and methodologies. Burchell, who holds a doctorate degree in social justice and diversity education, will also be part of United Minds’ DE&I team.

Burchell joins from the research and consulting firm Great Place to Work, where he most recently served as Middle East group managing director and CEO, leading the growth of the business out of Dubai. Earlier in his career he led the development of the organization’s global network and managed consulting services in the US.

Burchell has also served as an organizational solutions expert at McKinsey and coauthored two guides for leaders on workplace culture.

United Minds president Kate Bullinger said: “Michael’s range of experience and deep knowledge of culture and employee experience is unparalleled —  he quite literally wrote the book on it. His expertise and passion for building great workplaces will be crucial to our growth and ability to provide the best solutions for our clients. We are thrilled to have him on board as we continue to help clients address the complexities stemming from the greatest change management exercise of our time.”
