NEW YORK — The Page Society has named Rochelle Ford as its new CEO, marking a significant leadership transition for the global organization of senior communications leaders.

Ford, who has long been involved with Page and is a recipient of the group’s Distinguished Service Award, will succeed Roger Bolton, who has led the organization for more than a decade.

Ford joins Page with a wealth of experience in higher education, nonprofit leadership, and the communications field. Most recently, she served as president of Dillard University, strengthening the institution’s financial health and reputation. Before that, she was dean of the School of Communications at Elon University and chair of the public relations department at Syracuse University’s Newhouse School.

Page’s Board of Trustees unanimously selected Ford, citing her expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion as well as her ability to elevate the strategic influence of chief communications officers. “Rochelle’s experience and vision align perfectly with our mission to advance the impact of communications leadership on business and society,” the organization said in a statement.

Ford will officially assume the CEO role following Bolton’s departure at the end of the year. Under Bolton’s leadership, the organization expanded its global reach, increased membership, and deepened its influence in the C-Suite. “Roger’s contributions to Page and our profession have been extraordinary,” said Page chair Kelli Parsons, who also serves as global CEO of Hill & Knowlton.

Ford’s appointment represents a new chapter for Page, which is focused on driving innovation, strengthening the role of CCOs, and fostering a more inclusive and global leadership community. She is expected to continue building on the foundation Bolton established while guiding the organization in addressing the evolving challenges of the profession.
