LONDON — Strategic communications agency Powerscourt has made a series of senior hires and promotions to support its growth.
Former FTI Consulting senior director Gilly Lock (pictured, right) joins Powerscourt next month as a director in the financials and real estate team, with responsibility for developing the agency’s business advising asset and wealth managers. At FTI, where she held various roles over nearly 10 years, Lock advised the likes of Barings, BlackRock, BMO Global Asset Management, BNY Mellon Investment Management and Brewin Dolphin.
Ngozi Emeagi (pictured, left) arrives at Powerscourt in November as a senior consultant to support banks director Andy Smith with the agency’s banking clients and also helping companies to develop and communicate diversity and inclusion policies.
Emeagi joins from insurance firm MS Amlin where she is the global media and PR lead responsible for all external and internal communications. Prior to this, she spent four years with Direct Line Group. Before moving to Direct Line, Emeagi worked at FleishmanHillard and Tulchan, and started her career with a four-year stint on the government bonds team at Goldman Sachs.
In addition, Powerscourt has appointed Louisa Henry and James Anderson as analysts in London, and Ounissa Quaid as an analyst in Dublin. The new hires take the team to 55 in London and six in Dublin.
The agency has also made eight promotions across its London and Dublin offices, including elevating Rob Greening, the co-head of Powerscourt’s consumer industries team to partner. Greening works with clients including GVC Holdings, Auto Trader, Greencore, Halfords, Stock Spirits, AllSaints and Ultimate Products.
Eavan Gannon, who leads on financial service clients within the Irish business, is promoted from director to senior management team director, and there are three further promotions from senior consultant to director (Daisy Birch, Lisa Kavanagh and Mark Leftly) and three from analyst to consultant (Ben Harries, Ella Morris and Linda Gu).
Powerscourt founder and CEO Rory Godson told PRovoke Media: “These promotions reflect Powerscourt’s ability to attract, retain and develop talented people from a range of professional backgrounds and across all levels of seniority. I am hugely proud of the careers that each of them is building with us, and they all embody the qualities that we look for in Powerscourt people: decency, positivity, adaptability, collegiality, and ambition.
"Additionally, with the recent hires that we have made, the team at Powerscourt is in outstanding shape and we are confident in our future, which has been underpinned by the resilience of the business over the last six months.”
