BOSTON — BCW research-based consultancy PSB has promoted Dave Gordon to CEO.

Gordon, who is based in Boston, will be responsible for leading PSB’s global business expansion through engagements with major brands, advocacy organizations and political entities.  He joined PSB in April to lead the firm’s US offices in the Eastern region.

Gordon succeeds Peter Horst, a former Hershey CMO who is retiring after two years in the role. He will report to Donna Imperato, BCW and BCW group global CEO.

Before joining PSB, Gordon spent seven years with Phoenix Marketing International in multiple roles, most recently leading the team responsible for the company’s largest industry vertical.  He spent the prior 17 years with market research firms including Forrester Research, Lightspeed Research and Ace Metrix.
