WASHINGTON — Public affairs expert KayAnn Schoeneman has stepped down from her role leading Ketchum’s Washington office to assume a senior leadership position with Curley Company.

A senior VP and director, Schoeneman was brought onboard to lead the expansion of Curley’s corporate and public affairs practices. She is also a member of the firm’s executive leadership team.

Schoeneman brings expertise in public affairs garnered over a nearly 20-year career in the field, the last five of which she spent at Ketchum.  Most recently she led the firm’s Washington operation, as well as its public affairs practice.

Previously, she served as Ketchum’s public and corporate affairs practice director and oversaw research across six US offices.

“KayAnn brings sophisticated, data-driven solutions to the challenges faced by C-suite leaders, policymakers, trade association leaders and other influential stakeholders,” said founder and CEO Jennifer Curley. “Having known KayAnn professionally for several years, I know her wealth of experience, impressive credentials and strategic counsel will contribute significantly to Curley Company’s continued growth.”
