LONDON — Organic herbal tea and supplement brand Pukka Herbs has appointed The Fourth Angel as its first global PR partner.

The Fourth Angel will support the brand’s integrated marketing campaigns and amplify all above-the-line creative work, as well as telling the story of the Pukka brand, business and product range.

Pukka Herbs, which was bought by Unilever in 2017, is a certified B-Corp business and donates 1% of sales to tree planting projects around the world. The company, founded 21 years ago in Bristol, had turnover of £42.9 million for the last full financial year.

Global communications lead Kate Willacy said: “The Fourth Angel really impressed us with their authentic understanding of and passion for Pukka and our purpose. They came up with some brilliant creative ideas, which were firmly rooted in a smart strategy; this coupled with a dynamic and meaningful rapport from the outset made Fourth Angel an unrivalled choice for Pukka.”

The Fourth Angel founder and CEO Angie Moxham added: “This is a dream client for us. It blends in perfectly with our burgeoning health and wellbeing practice, which includes other stellar brands such as The Body Shop, Childs Farm and Organix. Pukka’s values and culture, which are founded on ancient herbal wisdom and Ayurvedic principles, are also incredibly well matched with ours. And we’re all also huge fans of their products, so it’s definitely a win-win.”
