WASHINGTON — PwC partner Alison Kutler has joined BCW as deputy leader of the firm’s Washington office.

In the newly created executive VP role, Kutler’s responsibilities include working with Washington head Michael Fleischer on strategic market growth, talent management and financial performance. She also will advise key Fortune 500 clients on policy strategy and be a member of BCW’s North American leadership team.

Before joining BCW, Kutler spent three years as a principal with PwC in technology, media and telecommunications, and a leader in providing clients with strategies to define and execute their government and regulatory affairs agendas.

Before that, she spent two years with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) as bureau chief, consumer and governmental affairs and special adviser to the chairman for digital opportunity. Experience also includes leading Visa’s government relations strategy and activities in the Americas and driving Visa’s public policy agenda globally.

“Alison offers extraordinary experience working in government and the private sector developing and leading business, regulatory and policy strategies at both the US and global levels,” said Fleischer. “She is an expert at building and managing high-performance teams across multiple functions, navigating complex environments and helping organizations advance their corporate and policy objectives. This wealth of knowledge will be a boon to our clients and to our teams who will learn firsthand from one of the best in the business.”
