NEW YORK — RF|Binder has promoted Rebecca Binder to president of the firm.

Formerly senior managing director, Binder is responsible for setting and implementing strategic goals for future growth and overseeing all operations. She also serves as a member of RF|Binder’s board of directors.

Amy Binder, Rebecca Binder’s mother, previously held the president’s role in addition to serving as chair and CEO. She will continue in the chair and CEO roles.

“Rebecca’s background in strategic consulting and communications has been a key driver of our success since she joined RF|Binder four years ago,” Amy Binder said. “Her ability to identify where we need to be to continue to bring the most value to our clients is unprecedented. She’s also had a big hand in expanding our client capabilities. In this new role, she will be able to spend more time focusing on these strengths, so we can continue to achieve the most impact for our clients.”

Rebecca Binder joined RF|Binder in 2018 as senior managing director overseeing strategic initiatives. Under her leadership, the firm has expanded and strengthened its services across the firm, including strategic communications consulting, paid and digital media and content creation, as well as advanced data and analytics offerings, the agency said.

Prior to joining the agency, Binder spent more than a decade working at management and innovation firms including Innosight, a growth strategy consulting firm. Previously, she worked with Booz Allen Hamilton, where she led cross-functional teams in its federal practice.
