LONDON — European consumer technology, B2B technology and gaming specialist Ranieri Agency has appointed Luciano Alibrandi as its first MD in France.

Alibrandi was director of PR and then director of communications at global gaming graphics card manufacturer Nvidia for nearly 15 years. He joins Ranieri from independent gaming studio Madfinger Games, based in the Czech Republic, where he was COO and director of communications, alongside running his own consultancy.

In his new role, Alibrandi will oversee Ranieri Agency France’s portfolio of clients, its 10-strong team, and “ambitious” growth strategy. He will also work closely with the group’s UK and German businesses to deliver pan-European, integrated campaigns and further multi-market opportunities.

He will report to group CEO and founder Pietro Ranieri, who said the agency, which now has a total of 55 staff across the UK, Germany and France, “has experienced significant growth through 2020 and 2021" and this appointment solidifies its "commitment to further European expansion.”

Ranieri said: “Luciano is a world class strategic and international leader with a passion for people development, a contagious enthusiasm and unfailing optimism. I am beyond thrilled that Luciano has agreed to join Ranieri Agency at this exciting juncture of our growth and he will play a pivotal role in the next phase of our European expansion. We have won a number of tier one clients in the past 12 months and it’s important that we support this expansion with senior hires.”

Alibrandi added: “With an ever-expanding European footprint and an impressive Pan European growth strategy, Ranieri Agency is a very exciting and inspirational agency place to be right now. I am delighted to be leading the French operation and helping drive forward an insightful and innovative Group plan for 2022 and beyond.”
