LONDON — Ready10 has been appointed by celebrity video service Cameo as its first UK PR agency after a competitive pitch.

The fan engagement platform – where fans can pay for short personalised video messages from celebrities – is now valued at $1 billion and is used by 48,000 celebrities, public figures and content creators globally, including Snoop Dog, Caitlyn Jenner and Floyd Mayweather.

Ready10’s brief is to help promote the personalised Cameo offering as well as additional products and special projects, such as its meet-and-greet product, Cameo Calls, and charity initiatives including its recent partnership with Afghan refugee charity Choose Love.

Cameo director of communications Allie Mack said: “We knew very early on in the pitch process that Ready10 got us and what we are trying to achieve, not just in the UK, but globally. They are a passionate team who share great ideas, are connected to celebrity culture, and achieve high-impact media results consistently. We are delighted to be working with them through our next phase of growth.”

Ready10 founder David Fraser added: “I genuinely believe Cameo can become a generation-defining, transformative, brand globally and that it will lead the way in connecting public figures and fans over the next decade. The whole team is so excited to be jumping on in what is still a formative time for the company and we can’t wait to get started.”

Cameo joins McDonald’s, Paddy Power, MoneySuperMarket and Flora on Ready10's client roster.
