SINGAPORE – Redhill has brought in former Edelman senior executive Amanda Goh as a senior advisor to support the firm's growth.

Goh, who left Edelman after 17 years, will work with Redhill’s senior leadership on business development and organisational transformation – in addition to counsel for the agency’s client base across various industries and global markets. She will also serve as a mentor to the agency’s young talent to grow their careers and skills within the industry.

At Edelman, Goh was vice-chair of Edelman's clients and sectors in Asia-Pacific, leading the firm's biggest client relationship in the region in HP. Prior to that, she spent six years in charge of Edelman's Singapore office, after four years as an SVP in New York.

"Mentoring young leaders and being involved with rewarding client work are two of my top goals and I am confident that Redhill will provide me with those opportunities," said Goh.

Goh will continue to operate independently as the founder and managing partner of her own communications consulting business – Chasm-United, which she launched after leaving Edelman. “I see a lot of synergies between our two companies – our clients are increasingly are looking for scalable and new ideas, senior industry leaders who are committed to their craft and regardless of where they sit in a P&L, will jump in and bring together best-in-class execution of that craft," she said.

Over the last six months, Redhill has opened new offices in Abu Dhabi and Seoul and signed 35 new clients, while hiring 13 account servicing team members.

On Goh’s hire, Redhill CEO Jacob Puthenparambil said: “Her expertise and unparalleled leadership experience in the industry will help nurture and develop our global talent and make Redhill a leading world-class agency.”
