LONDON—Regester Larkin has added Admiral Sir James Burnell-Nugent, Paul Tilley and Alaina Macdonald.

Burnell-Nugent is a former commander-in-chief t of the Royal Navy and since leaving the Navy he has advised on international maritime security, especially piracy, working closely with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office. He will serve as chairman of Regester Larkin’s Aerospace, Defence and Maritime practice.

Tilley joins as a director and will focus on crisis planning and strategic communication. As a former member of the British Army, he led UK government ultra-high readiness crisis planning teams worldwide and delivered crisis communication campaigns overseas in contested regions throughout the Middle East, including Libya and most recently Syria.

Macdonald joins as a senior consultant, with over a decade of experience working in government and the media. She has been a speechwriter for the NATO Secretary General and a special adviser to three Secretaries of State at the Ministry of Defence in London.
