NEW YORK — RF|Binder has acquired New Jersey-based Taft Communications, strengthening the firm’s expertise in purpose-driven communications.
The acquisition enhances RF|Binder’s capabilities in sustainability, health and wellness, and energy. Taft Communications will now operate as Taft Communications, a division of RF|Binder. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
RF|Binder stated that the addition of Taft Communications expands its ability to deliver issue-based campaigns, advocacy, public affairs, and nonprofit support. The acquisition also broadens the firm’s reach into alternative energy, clean tech, and healthcare sectors, including pharmaceuticals and hospital systems.
Ted Deutsch, CEO and managing partner of Taft Communications, will serve as executive managing director of RF|Binder, leading the Taft division. Deutsch, along with senior Taft leaders Lindsey Pascarella, Jayne O’Connor, and Sheila Cort, will remain in key roles to ensure continuity for clients and staff.
