LOS ANGELES—Rotary International, an organization that brings together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian service, has selected GolinHarris to build awareness and lead national media relations efforts for End Polio Now, its global campaign to eradicate polio worldwide. In addition, the agency will build awareness for the non-profit’s other major international humanitarian programs, such as its ongoing earthquake recovery efforts in Haiti.

The account will be led out of the agency’s Los Angeles office by Dan Zukowski, senior vice president.

“We wanted help in telling our story and highlighting our efforts to eradicate polio,” says Kathy Kessenich, general manager of communications for Rotary International. “We selected GolinHarris for its experience in the non-profit sector and its ability to get results while providing good counsel.”
