LONDON — Ruder Finn has strengthened its UK healthcare leadership team with two senior appointments on the back of revenue and client growth.
Brendan Manning joins the team as a director having spent four years at Health Unlimited. In addition, the company has promoted Charlotte Collins to the same position, after joining from Four Communications earlier this year.
Ruder Finn said its UK’s healthcare revenue has grown by 30% over the past 18 months since co-heads Sarah Brennan and Leah Peyton assumed leadership of the division, including new business wins across pharma, corporate and medtech. In that time eight new people have joined, bringing the London healthcare team to 24 staff, working with clients including AstraZeneca and UCB.
Peyton said: “Over the past 18 months, we have delivered success after success, be that launching award-winning campaigns, supporting our clients’ Covid front line response or converting opportunities that will support our long-term growth. Brendan and Charlotte will help oversee our talented healthcare team, which we will be bolstering with further stand-out hires in the New Year.”
Manning added: “The UK healthcare division’s swift growth over a challenging time for our sector is a testament to the agency’s expertise and value to clients. I’m excited to join Ruder Finn at a pivotal moment of growth and expansion, so that we can continue to deliver industry-leading work and attract the best talent.”
Ruder Finn recent acquired specialist public sector technology PR firm Mantis.
