MILPITAS, CA — Flash storage maker SanDisk is amid a global PR review for its enterprise business following its recent acquisition of Fusion-io.

Last month, SanDisk completed its $1.1 billion acquisition of the publicly-traded Fusion-io to build out its enterprise play around PCIe hardware and software.

On the back of this, the company is conducting a global PR review that involves the US, Germany, the UK, France and India. SanDisk’s enterprise PR incumbent McGrath-Power and Fusion-io’s agency Text100 both declined to re-pitch the business, said SanDisk PR head Michael Diamond.

“I am expecting a number of responses later this month from a variety of agencies,” he said, adding that SanDisk’s US corporate and retail AOR Voce Communications/Porter Novelli is participating in the review.

SanDisk has employed a "best in market" approach for its other global needs.
