NEW YORK — BCW has made three appointments— Rebecca Grant, Catherine Sullivan and Melanie Mitchem — to bolster its global brand, communications, and marketing functions respectively.

Grant, who is CEO of BCW UK, has added serving as chief brand officer to her remit, which includes leading a  team driving proprietary research, thought leadership, tools and campaigns. She succeeds Lauren Glazer, who stepped down from the role in May.

A member of BCW’s global board, Grant (pictured) has served as the agency’s UK CEO since 2018. She was Cohn & Wolfe’s managing director of consumer marketing in the UK and EMEA before that.

Sullivan, meantime, has been named BCW Group’s first global chief communications officer, as which she will oversee communications and reputation for all of the group’s companies including AxiCom, BCW, Direct Impact, GCI Health, Goodfuse, HZ and Prime Policy Group.

She has been with the organization since 2014, most recently serving as executive VP of global communications for BCW. She was managing director of worldwide communications for Burson-Marsteller before that.

Mitchem, meantime, recently joined BCW as executive VP of global marketing, responsible for overseeing the agency’s regional marketing teams and raising BCW ‘s visibility. Mitchem joined BCW after four years at FCB Global, where she most recently as senior VP and executive director of global communications and public relations.
