SYDNEY — In the six months since opening a Singapore office, Sling & Stone has expanded its regional business, adding new clients and staff across Asia Pacific.

The Sydney-headquartered agency, which was acquired by VCCP Business in September, recently added three new clients to its roster — AI solution Dataiku, HR platform HiBob, and sustainability management solution Equilibrium — all of which have hired Sling & Stone for regional remits.

Sling & Stone is managing Dataiku’s communications strategy and execution across APAC, joining fellow VCCP Business agency Method Communications, which recently became agency of record for Dataiku in the United States.

HiBob, which is expanding into Australia and Singapore, has hired Sling & Stone to manage communications and content work to embed the company into the Australian and Singaporean workplace.

The agency also will be providing PR support to Equilibrium, which combines tools including carbon accounting to ESG reporting, management, and decarbonisation into one central platform.

Sling & Stone has also grown its staff at the Singapore office (the firm’s first in Southeast Asia), which opened in December with associate director Rajiv Menon and account manager Ishina Sakhrani. The office now also includes senior account executive Anmol Khan Rai and account manager Althea Rei Del Rosario.

The addition of a Singapore office follows Sling & Stone's expansion into New Zealand (2017) and the US (2018).

Sling & Stone was launched in 2010 in Australia by Vuki Vujasinovic (pictured), with a focus on start-ups, high-growth technology and challenger brands. The agency now has 75 people in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. The agency was PRovoke Media’s Australasian agency of the year in 2020.
