NEW YORK — Stephanie Smirnov, most recently Scholastic’s communications head, has joined Lippe Taylor as chief engagement officer.

In her new role, Smirnov will oversee the agency’s client leadership teams, reporting to CEO Paul Dyer. She replaces Tracy Naden, who is being promoted to an unspecified role.

At Scholastic, Smirnov served has head of global corporate communications, as which she oversaw earned and social media, CEO communications, corporate marketing, crisis management, internal communications and events and partnerships.

Smirnov's previous roles include serving as managing director of Edelman’s brand practice and also as DeVries Global’s US CEO.
