Global Women in PR (GWPR) launched last year as a network for women in PR associations. As the umbrella organization, GWPR is a channel for debating and drawing attention to major issues affecting women working in global PR. Among those issues is addressing the gender pay gap. 

GWPR's primary goal is highlighting the gender imbalance and pay gap that exists in the PR industry worldwide, alongside finding ways of increasing the representation of women in the boardroom and ensuring equal pay.

The Holmes Report is supporting the PR industry's first Global Gender Pay Gap Survey, led by GWPR, Hanson Search and ICCO. The deadline to take part is August 26.
