LONDON — Talk.Global has become the lead UK public relations agency for Unilever’s Flora spread, after a competitive pitch.

The M&C Saatchi Group agency takes over the account from incumbent Golin, and will be supporting Flora’s relaunch, after the brand announced it was evolving its range to be entirely plant-based.

An integrated campaign, launched last month, focuses on the taste of Flora products to drive brand reappraisal. Talk.Global’s brief includes news generation, experiential, social and brand partnership activity.

The Flora win follows the agency’s own rebrand last year, broadening from its Talk PR beauty and fashion roots into a broader lifestyle and FMCG agency: as well as handling Johnson & Johnson’s beauty portfolio and Coty, the agency works with Le Creuset and Lindt and recently won work for eBay.

Talk.Global board director Suzy Socker, who joined the agency last October, said: “We are delighted to be working with Flora. It confirms our ability to lead a truly integrated campaign combining consumer PR, social and experiential plus everything in-between. We are looking forward to delivering some ground-breaking campaigns for Flora in 2019.”
