Last week's Global PR Summit featured an interesting panel discussion that included a presentation on megatrends by Economist Intelligence Unit Americas editor Justine Thody. Grayling CEO Michael Murphy, who led the panel, pointed out that the trends in question - including such topics as ‘hyper-globalisation’, ‘global swarming’ and demographic shifts - are visibly impacting the practice of public relations.
